Amsterdam was one for the books!

Upon landing in Amsterdam immediately after Iceland, we had no idea what to expect.  We were meeting a friend from back home and supposed to head to our Airbnb which was pre-arranged.  We did exactly that, we got in a bit late so we ended up taking a pretty hefty cab ride to the center of Amsterdam.  Upon arriving we were amazed with the beautiful architecture built along the canals, regardless of the time of night.  Over the next few days our love for this city would increase by the minute, from the friendly people you encounter on a daily basis, to the simplicity of riding bikes and navigating from point a to b, amazing food and drinks, and a wonderful underground music scene that'd go all night long as long as you know the right people.  I believe it's fair to say we can't wait to return again sometime soon!
