Aria Sky Suites in Las Vegas: Ultimate High Roller Luxury
If you know anything about Jim and me, it's no secret how much we love Las Vegas. So much, in fact, that we spent a week there before AND after dropping off our RV for our West Coast RV road trip. Yes, please feel free to laugh it up about us driving a day from Vegas to Phoenix and back again because we couldn't wait to get our Las Vegas fix - we even almost got stranded in the middle of the desert with an empty RV tank!
Some might call it an unhealthy obsession. But that's beside the point here.
What I'm getting at is that we know the Las Vegas Strip, in all its lewd, glitzy glory. We've hopped from casino to casino, and we've slept in most of the hotels. But the one casino that keeps us coming back for more is Aria, particularly the Aria Sky Suites.
Aria Resort and Casino is our favorite stay on the Las Vegas Strip because they do everything right, and then some. To break it down for you, here are some of the reasons why I recommend choosing Aria Sky Suites to catch some occasional zzzz's the next time you want to win big in Vegas.
The Rooms
Whether it's Aria's luxe Sky Suites or even a standard room, Aria's rooms are over-the-top, high-tech awesomeness. They'd spoiled me so badly, to the point that I frown now when I find out a hotel room's curtains don't open with the press of a button on a tablet, like they do at Aria. I'm the worst, I know.
Every Aria Sky Suite room is enveloped in glass windows that allow tons of natural light in and a great view of either the Strip or the mountains. Both views have their perks, IMO! The rooms also come with a well-stocked minibar as well as a mini bartending setup with essentials such as glasses, bottle opener and cocktail shaker.
Another great feature of a Sky Suites stay is the nightly turn-down service. After a night of playing on the Las Vegas Strip, Sky Suites guests will return to their rooms to find their room cleaned and organized with a perfect ambiance, pillows fluffed, slippers at their bedside, and a little treat such as lavender sleep oil, chocolates, or hand cream at their nightstand.
The bathrooms are equally as glorious, each with a deep soaking jacuzzi tub and his-and-hers sinks. And of course, no luxurious bathtub would be complete without the complimentary bath salts.
Oh, and even the toilets are over the top, with a heated toilet seat and high-tech bidet system. It literally comes with a butt dryer. I've never seen such a thing (or knew I needed one) but I'll take it!
The Sky Pool
The Sky Pool is one of my favorite parts about staying at the Sky Suites in Aria. On a typical hot Las Vegas day, most guests are going to be fighting over a lounge chair by the pool, but not Sky Suites guests. They get access to their own pool - the Sky Pool.
Staff will come around every so often with cold face towels and complimentary juice. There's also a sunscreen and water station.
The VIP Experience
What really sets Aria Sky Suites apart from other luxury resorts in Las Vegas is the seemingly tailor-made service they offer each Sky Suites guest from the moment they arrive in Vegas. All Sky Suites guests receive complimentary limo transportation to and from the airport, and once they arrive at the hotel they are escorted in through the private Sky Suites entrance and checked in at the exclusive Sky Suites check-in desk. From there - you guessed it - a private elevator lifts guests up to their rooms.
There is also the Sky Lounge reserved only for Sky Suites guests with complimentary beverages (tea, coffee, soft drinks) and a snack spread that changes throughout the day. Guests can head down to the Sky Lounge in the late afternoon for hors d'oeuvres and wine.
It's truly the little touches that make Aria Sky Suites a VIP experience.
